It started in the 18th century i.e. 1852. Since then, all the delicious dishes including sweets are prepared here in the purest manner. That is why their demand is highest. Today this shop is run by Manish Jain of the 7th generation. Although this is his ancestral work and even today he is continuously taking it forward. There is huge demand for sweets during festivals and weddings.
Anandam Caters was started in 1852
Manish Jain, who runs Anandam Caters, says that our great grandfather first started Anandam Caters in 1852 from Rewari, Haryana. Then the demand for our sweets and other dishes started reaching Jaipur. So our ancestors started a shop in the walled market of Jaipur and made the people here taste their handmade dishes.
His ancestors were the first to start Rewari sweets from Rewari and their Jain Rewari is very famous even today. Manish Jain says that I learned to make namkeen, sweets and other dishes from my grandfather and father and kept experimenting with them continuously. Due to which some sweets taste amazing.
Highest demand for sweets on Gangaur festival
Manish Jain says that although sweets are made throughout the year, the demand for sweets is highest during festivals. Especially on the festival of Gangaur, more than 15 types of special sweets are prepared here, which people like very much.
Manish Jain tells that my father always used to say that I have to run my own business and do something different. Then I used it in samosas and prepared two different types of samosas. Whose taste is completely different from the samosas available everywhere and today people come to our place from far and wide to enjoy these delicious samosas and sweets.
